1. This competition (the “Competition”) is conducted by Hotel Savoy and Conference Centre, Panarottis Mthatha and Big Eagle Spur Steak Ranch (referred to herein as “the Promoters”) and may only be entered into by customers of the Promoters.
2. Entrants must be 18 (eighteen) years or older and reside in South Africa with a valid South African ID or passport.
3. No persons related to the Promoter may enter the Competition (including but not limited to their Subsidiaries and / or Franchisees) by way of being:
3.1. directors, members, partners, employees, franchisees, agents of, or consultants to;
3.2. any marketing service provider(s), any supplier(s) of goods or services, any other person who directly or indirectly controls, or is controlled by them; or
3.3. any spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister, business partner or associate of any of such persons.
4. A copy of these Competition rules (“the Rules”) is available on the website at www.hotelsavoy.co.za. These Rules may be amended and updated on the website at any time during the Competition via the Hotel Savoy and Conference Centre website and will be applied and interpreted by the Promoters and its decisions regarding any disputes relating to such meaning and / or content will be final and binding.
5. Participation by the entrants in the Competition constitutes an agreement to abide by these Rules.
6. Entries for the Competition will run from 01 June 2025 to 30 September 2025 (“Competition Period”).
7. No entries will be accepted before the start date or after the closing date.
8. To enter and to be eligible entrants must:
8.1. Book accommodation and spend a minimum of One (1) night at Hotel Savoy and Conference Centre OR dine at Panarottis Mthatha OR Big Eagle Spur during the Competition Period.
8.2. Spend a minimum of R200 (Two Hundred Rand) on a single transaction at either Promoters Restaurants OR spend a minimum of One nights accommodation at Hotel Savoy and Conference Centre.
8.3. Receive an entry form, complete it with your full name, contact details, till slip or hotel folio number and sign the publicity and privacy clause on the entry form.
8.4. Drop the completed entry form into the designated entry box at Hotel Savoy and Conference Centre, Panarottis Mthatha or Big Eagle Spur.
9. Only one entry per qualifying transaction is allowed. Multiple entries are permitted, provided each entry is linked to a separate qualifying purchase.
10. Incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified.
11. The Promoters will not accept responsibility for entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged, undelivered or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, but not limited to, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
12. The Promoters reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who breaches any provision of these Rules.

14. At the first draw, one hundred (100) entrants will be randomly drawn based on their valid entries on Tuesday, 07 October 2025.
15. The selected one hundred (100) entries will be notified via telephone within seven (7) days of the draw and notified of the date of the final draw.
16. Three (3) winners will be drawn at the final draw, and their winnings will be announced via our Social Media pages, Facebook and Instagram.
17. The prizes are non-transferable and will be awarded in cash via EFT.

22.1. The entrant’s privacy is very important to the Promoter, and it will use reasonable efforts to ensure that any information, including personal information, provided by
the entrant, or which is collected from the entrant, is stored in a secure manner.
22.2. The entrant agrees to give (where applicable) honest, accurate and current information about the entrant to the Promoter and to maintain and update such
information when necessary.
22.3. By entering, participants agree that their name and image may be used for promotional purposes without compensation.
22.4. Personal data collected during the Competition will be used solely for administration and prize fulfilment purposes and will not be shared with third parties unless in terms of clause 22.5 below.
22.5. The entrant’s personal information collected by the Promoter may be used for the following reasons:
• the processing of personal information on the Promoter’s website;
• further processing by third parties, including the fact that related parties of the
company may access information on the Promoter’s website;
• direct marketing;
• fraud prevention; and
• SARB and SARS reporting and the like if applicable.
22.6. The entrant acknowledges that any information supplied to the Promoter is voluntarily.
22.7. By submitting any information to the Promoter in any form the entrant further acknowledges that such conduct constitutes an unconditional, specific and voluntary consent to the processing of such information by the Promoter under any applicable law in the manner contemplated above, which consent shall, in the absence of any written objection received from the entrant, be indefinite and/or for the period otherwise required in terms of any applicable law.
22.8. Unless the entrant has consented, the Promoters will not sell, exchange, transfer, rent or otherwise make available any personal information about the entrant (such as name, address, email address, telephone number) to other parties and the entrant indemnifies the Promoter from any unintentional disclosures of such information to unauthorized persons.
22.9. Should the entrant believe that the Promoters have utilised the entrant’s personal information contrary to applicable law, the entrant shall first resolve any concerns with the Promoters. If the entrant is not satisfied with such process, the entrant has the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
23. The winners will be required to forward a certified copy of their Identity Document and details of their address to the Promoter within the time period stipulated by the Promoter. Every reasonable effort will be made to contact the winners, however if the winners do not respond to the notification/s and/or provide the required documents within 3 (three) days after the Promoter has informed them that they have won the applicable prize, failing which the winners will forfeit the prize and the Promoter will be entitled to redraw to find an alternative winner.
24. The prizes are not transferable or exchangeable to the maximum extent permitted in law. The Promoter and their subsidiary, holding, associated, related and inter-related companies are not liable for any defects in, or changes to, any part of the prizes.
25. The Promoters may, after the winners have accepted their prizes, and both before or after the winners of the Competition have been publicly announced, request that the winners permit the use of their image/s and/or name/s in their marketing material and / or participate in their marketing activities (including endorsing, promoting and / or advertising the services of, Hotel Savoy and Conference Centre, Panarottis Mthatha and Big Eagle Spur Steak Ranch, or any of its subsidiary, holding, associated, related and inter-related companies) (“the Invitation”). 26. To the maximum extent permitted in law, the owners of any Panarottis or Spur Steak Ranch restaurants, the Promoter, or any holding, subsidiary, associated, related and inter-related companies, or any of their respective directors, officers, managers, employees, agents, franchisees, or anyone associated with any of them, shall not incur any liability to any person for any injury, loss, claim or damage of any nature whatsoever whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise, as a result of (or in any way connected to) any person entering into, or arising from any cause whatsoever or howsoever arising from any person’s
participation in any way, in this Competition or as a result of (or in any way connected to) any prizes won thereunder, including any tax liability incurred by the winner as
contemplated in clause 20 above (any such prizes being utilized and accepted at the sole and own risk of any winner thereof).
27. In the event of any act of God, strike, war, warlike operation, rebellion, riot, civil commotion, lockout, combination of workmen, interference of trade unions, suspension of labour, fire, accident, or (without regard to the foregoing renumeration) of any circumstances arising or action taken beyond or outside the reasonable control of the Promoter preventing them from the performance of any obligation to an entrant (any suchevent hereinafter called “Force Majeure”) then the Promoter shall be relieved of all such obligations to the entrant during the period that such Force Majeure continues and shall not be liable for any delay or failure in the performance of any obligations or loss or damage which the entrant may suffer due to or resulting from the Force Majeure.

29. In the event of a dispute in respect of any aspect of the Competition, the Promoter’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. In the event of a dispute regarding a winner chosen in accordance with 11 above, the decision of an independent admitted attorney duly appointed by the Promoter will be final and binding and no other correspondence will be entered into.

22.5. The entrant’s personal information collected by the Promoter may be used for the following reasons:
• the processing of personal information on the Promoter’s website;
• further processing by third parties, including the fact that related parties of the
company may access information on the Promoter’s website;
• direct marketing;
• fraud prevention; and
• SARB and SARS reporting and the like if applicable.
22.6. The entrant acknowledges that any information supplied to the Promoter is voluntarily.
22.7. By submitting any information to the Promoter in any form the entrant further acknowledges that such conduct constitutes an unconditional, specific and voluntary consent to the processing of such information by the Promoter under any applicable law in the manner contemplated above, which consent shall, in the absence of any written objection received from the entrant, be indefinite and/or for the period otherwise required in terms of any applicable law.
22.8. Unless the entrant has consented, the Promoters will not sell, exchange, transfer, rent or otherwise make available any personal information about the entrant (such as name, address, email address, telephone number) to other parties and the entrant indemnifies the Promoter from any unintentional disclosures of such information to unauthorized persons.
22.9. Should the entrant believe that the Promoters have utilised the entrant’s personal information contrary to applicable law, the entrant shall first resolve any concerns with the Promoters. If the entrant is not satisfied with such process, the entrant has the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
23. The winners will be required to forward a certified copy of their Identity Document and details of their address to the Promoter within the time period stipulated by the Promoter. Every reasonable effort will be made to contact the winners, however if the winners do not respond to the notification/s and/or provide the required documents within 3 (three) days after the Promoter has informed them that they have won the applicable prize, failing which the winners will forfeit the prize and the Promoter will be entitled to redraw to find an alternative winner.
24. The prizes are not transferable or exchangeable to the maximum extent permitted in law. The Promoter and their subsidiary, holding, associated, related and inter-related companies are not liable for any defects in, or changes to, any part of the prizes.
25. The Promoters may, after the winners have accepted their prizes, and both before or after the winners of the Competition have been publicly announced, request that the winners permit the use of their image/s and/or name/s in their marketing material and / or participate in their marketing activities (including endorsing, promoting and / or advertising the services of, Hotel Savoy and Conference Centre, Panarottis Mthatha and Big Eagle Spur Steak Ranch, or any of its subsidiary, holding, associated, related and inter-related companies) (“the Invitation”). 26. To the maximum extent permitted in law, the owners of any Panarottis or Spur Steak Ranch restaurants, the Promoter, or any holding, subsidiary, associated, related and inter-related companies, or any of their respective directors, officers, managers, employees, agents, franchisees, or anyone associated with any of them, shall not incur any liability to any person for any injury, loss, claim or damage of any nature whatsoever whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise, as a result of (or in any way connected to) any person entering into, or arising from any cause whatsoever or howsoever arising from any person’s
participation in any way, in this Competition or as a result of (or in any way connected to) any prizes won thereunder, including any tax liability incurred by the winner as
contemplated in clause 20 above (any such prizes being utilized and accepted at the sole and own risk of any winner thereof).
27. In the event of any act of God, strike, war, warlike operation, rebellion, riot, civil commotion, lockout, combination of workmen, interference of trade unions, suspension of labour, fire, accident, or (without regard to the foregoing renumeration) of any circumstances arising or action taken beyond or outside the reasonable control of the Promoter preventing them from the performance of any obligation to an entrant (any suchevent hereinafter called “Force Majeure”) then the Promoter shall be relieved of all such obligations to the entrant during the period that such Force Majeure continues and shall not be liable for any delay or failure in the performance of any obligations or loss or damage which the entrant may suffer due to or resulting from the Force Majeure.
28. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend, amend or terminate the Competition at any time and without notice to the entrants.
29. In the event of a dispute in respect of any aspect of the Competition, the Promoter’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. In the event of a dispute regarding a winner chosen in accordance with 11 above, the decision of an independent admitted attorney duly appointed by the Promoter will be final and binding and no other correspondence will be entered into.
30. By entering the Competition, entrants agree to receive further communication and direct marketing material from the Promoter, and their holding and subsidiary companies, provided that the entrants may opt-out of receiving commercial communications at any time via the appropriate opt-out mechanisms provided by the Promoter for such purpose.
31. This Competition shall comply with, and will be subject to, any peremptory provisions of the Consumer Protection Act (“CPA”) and the regulations promulgated thereunder, which are deemed to be incorporated herein (“Peremptory Provisions”). 32. Any provision of these Rules or the Competition which is held to be invalid or unenforceable shall be ineffective to the extent of such invalidity or unenforceability

1. This competition (the “Competition”) is conducted by Hotel Savoy and Conference Centre, Panarottis Mthatha and Big Eagle Spur Steak Ranch (referred to herein as “the Promoters”) and may only be entered into by customers of the Promoters.
2. Entrants must be 18 (eighteen) years or older and reside in South Africa with a valid South African ID or passport.
3. No persons related to the Promoter may enter the Competition (including but not limited to their Subsidiaries and / or Franchisees) by way of being:
3.1. directors, members, partners, employees, franchisees, agents of, or consultants to;
3.2. any marketing service provider(s), any supplier(s) of goods or services, any other person who directly or indirectly controls, or is controlled by them; or
3.3. any spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister, business partner or associate of any of such persons.
4. A copy of these Competition rules (“the Rules”) is available on the website at www.hotelsavoy.co.za. These Rules may be amended and updated on the website at any time during the Competition via the Hotel Savoy and Conference Centre website and will be applied and interpreted by the Promoters and its decisions regarding any disputes relating to such meaning and / or content will be final and binding.
5. Participation by the entrants in the Competition constitutes an agreement to abide by these Rules.
6. Entries for the Competition will run from 01 June 2025 to 30 September 2025 (“Competition Period”).
7. No entries will be accepted before the start date or after the closing date.
8. To enter and to be eligible entrants must:
8.1. Book accommodation and spend a minimum of One (1) night at Hotel Savoy and Conference Centre OR dine at Panarottis Mthatha OR Big Eagle Spur during the Competition Period.
8.2. Spend a minimum of R200 (Two Hundred Rand) on a single transaction at either Promoters Restaurants OR spend a minimum of One nights accommodation at Hotel Savoy and Conference Centre.
8.3. Receive an entry form, complete it with your full name, contact details, till slip or hotel folio number and sign the publicity and privacy clause on the entry form.
8.4. Drop the completed entry form into the designated entry box at Hotel Savoy and Conference Centre, Panarottis Mthatha or Big Eagle Spur.
9. Only one entry per qualifying transaction is allowed. Multiple entries are permitted, provided each entry is linked to a separate qualifying purchase.
10. Incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified.
11. The Promoters will not accept responsibility for entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged, undelivered or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, but not limited to, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
12. The Promoters reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who breaches any provision of these Rules.
13. This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with any third-party social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook or Twitter.
14. At the first draw, one hundred (100) entrants will be randomly drawn based on their valid entries on Tuesday, 07 October 2025.
15. The selected one hundred (100) entries will be notified via telephone within seven (7) days of the draw and notified of the date of the final draw.
16. Three (3) winners will be drawn at the final draw, and their winnings will be announced via our Social Media pages, Facebook and Instagram.
17. The prizes are non-transferable and will be awarded in cash via EFT.
18. The prizes will be as follows:
18.1. The grand prize is R100,000 (One Hundred thousand Rand) in cash.
18.2. The first consolation prize is R30 000.00 (Thirty thousand Rand) in cash.
18.3. The second consolation prize is R10 000.00 (Ten thousand Rand) in cash.
19. The prizes will under no circumstances be handed over to a third party and will only be handed directly to the verified prize winner or at the prize winner’s written instruction.
20. Income taxes relating to the prize, if any, are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.
21. Entrants may enter the Competition multiple times, this is in fact encouraged!
